Featuring a unique 1D barcode and a bi-injected screw cap, they ensure reliable traceability, leak-proof sealing and high purity for laboratory and biobanking applications.
CLEARLine® 1D CryoGen® tubes are designed for the safe storage and traceability of biological samples in cryogenic conditions. Each tube features a unique and consecutive 1D barcode printed directly on the body, allowing efficient sample identification and compatibility with automated laboratory workflows.
The innovative bi-injected screw cap integrates a rubber sealing element directly into the cap during molding, preventing leakage and eliminating contamination risks. This design ensures secure closure and reliable performance even in demanding storage and transport conditions.
Manufactured from premium-quality virgin, medical-grade PP/PE, and free from biocides, plasticizers, and latex. Produced with optimized, high-gloss polished moulds, without incorporating slip additives such as oleamide, erucamide, or stearamide.
The tubes are non-cytotoxic, non-hemolytic and free from heavy metals and animal-derived components. Raw materials comply with USP Class VI and ISO 10993 standards, ensuring biocompatibility.
The tubes are suitable for storage from standard refrigeration conditions (+4°C) down to the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen, supporting cryogenic applications up to -196°C. They are autoclavable at 121°C for 20 minutes and compatible with high-speed centrifugation up to 19,000 x g (14,000 rpm).
Designed for practicality, they include a writing area and printed graduations, and are compatible with automated capping systems. CLEARLine® cryotubes are sterilized (SAL 10⁻⁶) and certified free from human DNA, DNase, RNase, ATP, pyrogens and PCR inhibitors, making them suitable for sensitive molecular biology applications.

Self-standing vials interlock in workstations. Locking base features prevents tubes rotating within the rack/workstation during capping and decapping.
