CLEARStable

CLEARStable is a reliable system designed for the freezing and long-term preservation of bacterial and microbial cultures.

Each sterile 2 ml cryovial contains porous ceramic beads that promote efficient microorganism adhesion and recovery. The vials are available with a glycerol-based cryoprotectant solution or in a dry version without cryoprotectant, providing flexibility according to the microorganism type and laboratory preservation protocol.

CLEARStable is available with two bead configurations: large beads, 20 ± 1 per vial, for easier handling and manipulation, and small beads, 25 ± 1 per vial, for greater availability during routine use, more individual recoveries within the same storage space and a larger reserve for repeat testing and verification.

The system is available in different configurations to meet laboratory and storage requirements, including 25-vial and 80-vial cryobox formats and bulk-packed vials. Identification options include 1D barcode and 2D Datamatrix versions to support sample traceability.

Color-coded caps and beads are available to facilitate quick visual identification and organization of different microbial strains. Each production lot is sterile with SAL 10⁻⁶ and supplied with a Certificate of Analysis.
CLEARStable is suitable for the preservation of bacteria, bacterial spores, fungi, molds and yeasts.

In 2D versions, the Datamatrix code is permanently positioned on the bottom of the tube and corresponds to the linear barcode on the tube body, supporting accurate sample traceability.
All vials containing cryoprotectant use the same glycerol-based formulation to ensure consistent performance across the range.

Storage:

• Before use, CLEARStable can be stored at room temperature or preferably at +4°C
• Recommended storage conditions for microbial cultures: -20°C for short-term storage, -80°C for long-term storage and the gaseous phase of liquid nitrogen for prolonged conservation, depending on the microorganism and laboratory protocol

Dry version only:

Before starting the preservation procedure, add a suitable cryoprotectant according to the microorganism or strain being stored. Ensure the porous beads are fully immersed in the cryoprotectant solution before proceeding with the standard preservation protocol.
