Histology cassettes

Biosigma embedding cassettes are resistant to decalcifying agents, histological solutions, acids, alkalis and solvents commonly used in pathology laboratories.

Standard histology cassettes feature a removable lid and an innovative closure system designed to reduce accidental opening and consequent specimen loss during processing.
An inward-facing front hook helps retain the lid, while special ribs secure the rear hooks in their slots. The smooth-edged tab facilitates opening by the operator.

Pre-stacked histology cassettes are supplied in rows of 40 held together by an easy-to-remove tape, simplifying insertion into the printer magazine.
The cassette bodies and lids are supplied separately, and the available colours support efficient specimen classification.
