The hCG One Step Pregnancy Test Device (Urine/Serum) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine, serum or plasma to aid in the early detection of pregnancy.
With a sensitivity of 25 mIU/mL, it enables early detection of pregnancy as early as 7–10 days after conception.
The test uses a combination of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies to selectively identify elevated hCG levels. Results appear within 3 minutes (urine) or 5 minutes (serum/plasma), depending on the sample type and test format.
It is a preliminary test: it does not quantify hCG values or track their progression.
