KOVA® Liqua-Trol™ urinalysis controls support laboratory quality-control procedures by providing consistent control material for qualitative and semi-quantitative urine testing.
The standard Liqua-Trol control is intended for routine chemical and physicochemical urinalysis. KOVA Liqua-Trol with Microscopics extends quality control to urine sediment examination through measured chemical constituents, stabilised human red blood cells and organic particles that simulate leukocytes.
The controls are designed for use with the KOVA System for Standardized Urinalysis but are not limited to this system. Lot-specific expected values allow laboratories to compare results and establish their own precision and accuracy parameters.
