Vacuum Filtration

JET BIOFIL® Vacuum Filtration are very useful in large volume samples separation and purification.

- Available with 3 membrane sorts of PVDF, PES and MCE

TIPS ON CHOOSING MEMBRANE

PVDF Polyvinylidene fluoride. (PVDF) is a polymer partially fluorinated at high services, characterized by a good chemical resistance (particularly towards aggression from strong acids, with thermal field of applicability: -40°C/150°C.).
PES Polyethersulfone: highly technological material with good rigidity of electric and with very high resistance to the temperature. Not very elastic but with good resistance to the traction.
MCE Mixed Celluloses Ester. Filtering of watery solutions
Nylon High resistance to a wide range of chemical agents; suitable for filtration of organics solvents and watery solutions; water repellent; it can be use for a wide range of pH.
PTFE Polyetetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a polymer of Tetrafluoroetylen. Thermoplastic material with excellent physical and chemical properties. It introduces very advantageous characteristics: good mechanical properties, excellent resistance to the abrasion and low friction coefficient, high temperature of use, excellent dimensional stability, low inflammability.
